Women, Infants, and Children

 WIC provides healthy foods, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support to low-income families in Curry County. You may qualify for WIC if you are pregnant, a new mom, or if you have a baby or young child under the age of 5. Call us at 541-373-9064!

Your family's health is our priority.

In order to keep you safe, WIC has taken the following precautions:

  • All individual appointments will be conducted via phone until further notice.
  • If you have an individual appointment scheduled, WIC will be calling you at that time to complete your appointment. Please call if you do not hear from us or have quesitons.

Applicants must meet four criteria to be eligible for WIC:

  • Live in Oregon,
  • Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman; an infant; or a child under 5-years-old,
  • Have a household income less than 185% of poverty guidelines,
  • Have a nutritional need or risk.

WIC has three offices in Curry County.

  • The Brookings office is open on Thursdays and Friday.
  • The Port Orford Office is open on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.
  • The Gold Beach office is open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
